Abstract

The developments in international computer networks in recent times have provided the possibility of using the Internet in every field. The tourism management also gains from the Internet media intensively with a view to carrying out the activities introducing marketing, sales development and low finances on international level. The Internet facilitates direct communication between clients and the tourism management by providing the clients with the possibility of making the reservation easily at any convenient time. But as in implementation of every technological advance, it brings itself the disadvantages as well as advantages, though the establishments that cannot adapt could not constitute their lives in the industry. This study reveals the developments between e-commerce and tourism sector. Furthermore, information systems and e-tourism practices in the tourism sector are explained in the theoretical framework.
