A STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION OF HUMAN SOURCES IN HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE WORLD

Abstract

In this study, it analyzed the distribution of female teaching staff in the world by using statistical techniques. In the study, it is found that Sub-Saharan Africa has the smallest rate for female academician. Latin America has the biggest rate for female academician. Asia-II Africa 1, Europe North America and Asia-I regions have the intermediate rate for female academician. As a result, it is vital to eliminate gender staff gap in tertiary education to contribute to the science and to the welfare of the society
