The Effect of Islamic Work Ethic on Alienation

Abstract

It is clear that as a social phenomenon ??religion?? in the particular ???slam?? has a social, economic, cultural and political role in the life and action. A "religion" as "the demographic impact of the requirements of both sectors working life as reflections of Islam is different. Thus, islamic work ethic, based on the Quran and the Sunnah. All responsibility of works towards God who created everything. In this respect, islamic work ethic is extremely important to ensure internal control services in the workplace. On the other hand alienation is one's own ego, to abandon the social life, own around and can be defined as coming under the influence of this concept.Ali(1988) who studied ?Scaling an Islamic work ethic?and Naresh Kumar ve Raduan Che Rose (2010) who studied ?Examining the Link Between Islamic Work Ethic and Innovation Capability?, Blauner?s who studied ?? Alienation and freedom: The factory worker and his industry??, contribute to the literature of the islamic work ethic and alienation relationship. In this study, it is investigated relationship and its size of between these two variables on the teachers.In this context, the main objective of the study, on the basis of teachers, relationships, and taking from perspective of effect on the relationship with the islamic work ethic, alienation and the institutions they work for teachers islamic work ethic and alienation are to reveal the presence perceptions of the behavior of the research findings.In the study, face-to-face survey were performed from the primary data collection methods and islamic work ethic scale developed by A. Ali(1988) is used for the islamic work ethic scale. Alienation scale was used which is adapted by Blauner?s (1964) and used by Ölçer (2005) and Abay (2004) as alienation scale. The research data were obtained from teachers in Sivas.
