The study group of the research consisted of a total of 67 articles published in the TR Index database on violin education between 2005 and 2024. “Violin” was used as the keyword, and 67 articles related to violin education constituted the study group of the research. The "Article Review Form" was prepared by the researcher as a data collection tool. Articles on violin education were analyzed using the content analysis technique, considering the publication year, research topic, study group, method, data collection tools and analysis of the data. The data were evaluated using frequency and percentage values and the results were shown in tables. When the findings are examined in general, it is seen that academic research in the field of violin education has increased in recent years. The majority of the research has been conducted with student groups. It has been determined that qualitative methods and data collection tools for document review are frequently preferred. In the distribution of subjects, professional and field qualifications, individual skills and teaching methods come to the fore. Quantitative-descriptive and qualitative-content analysis methods were mainly used in the analysis of the data. In general, it can be said that the focus of the research published in the TR Index database on violin education is both application and evaluation. The study systematically examines violin education articles indexed in TR Dizin to reveal current trends in the field and provides an original perspective to the literature on violin education.
