Abstract

Every author has benef?ted from their countries? culture. Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy, one of the Russian literature men, and Halit Ziya Ushakl?gil, one of the Turkish literature men, attarct attention because of discussing the love subjects in the their works of arts. A novelist pays more attention to selection of the characters around whom he will from the theme rather than the theme itself. For this reason the stereotypes have so many features according to their culture. It investigates the stereotypes of the Russian and Turkish literature ?Anna and Bihter- about their common features and evaluates their different features.
