Abstract

"In Anatolian, pictorial representations about religious issues especially emerge in tradition of Alevi-Islam; Hz. Ali, Hz. Hüseyin, Hac? Bekta? Veli and Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi's representive illustrations have survived. They don?t carry artistic concern, but its content is more important and in Turkish and Islamic art it is usually shown development in an area that could be called folk art of painting.
