Abstract

As it is impossible for people to meet their various needs by themselves, they have been in a constant search to ensure their needs that they can not meet.. In this sense Turks have tried to meet their needs by exchange along with mutualisation. While property exchange or swap have been made randomly in the past, markets have been established at some certain places for this purpose. It is necessary to talk about international property exchange in these markets besides swapping between small groups of individuals. In this context Turkish States generally established free trade markets at border regions to trade securely with neighboring countries. They economically traded with both eastern and western countries via these markets
