EVALUATION OF PATIENTS' ATTITUDES TO TRADITIONAL AND COMPLEMENTARY MEDICINE A CASE OF A MEDICAL CENTER IN ISTANBUL

Abstract

Determining the attitudes of patients about GETAT will contribute to the approach of health services from a holistic point of view in the planning process. GETAT should be integrated into health care processes by providing the necessary qualifications and environment by health professionals. The inclusion of GETAT applications in the applications within the scope of the ministry of health can fully meet the needs and expectations of patients by maximizing the satisfaction received from the health service. All individuals involved in the management phase of health services should master these practices and perform the planning and coordination process proactively. The analysis of the data obtained from the scale used in the study was made using the IBM SPSS 26.0 package program. In the first stage, the percentage and frequency distributions of demographic and general information, which constitute the first part of the survey, will be presented. In addition, the percentage and frequency distributions of the answers to the scales and the mean response and st. deviation values will be given. The determination of the methods to be used in the analysis depends on whether the distribution is normal or not. For this reason, Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk normality tests were performed on the scale dimensions. Since the distribution of the data did not fit the normal distribution, the Mann-Whitney-U test for each paired group and the Kruskal Wallis test for three or more groups were used in the group differences test.
