Abstract

Health institutions are organizations that show continuity due to their organizational structure, work with zero errors and have a chaotic structure. As a result of this, it is expected that the employees in this sector will act in accordance with this organization. It is expected that both administrators, who are decision makers, and health workers, know this organizational structure and act in this direction. The aim of this study is to reveal the moderator effect of happiness on the career adaptability of 511 health workers in Istanbul with the structural equation model. The results of the study show that the cognitive flexibility of healthcare professionals and their ability to adapt to their careers also have a moderating effect on happiness. It shows that individuals with cognitive flexibility and career adaptability directly affect their impressions on their happiness and the work done. Especially in the study based on health workers, it is seen that the health personnel with cognitive flexibility have a direct effect on their careers. Career adaptability also emerges only in cognitively flexible individuals. It is determined that if these conditions are met, the happiness of health workers will increase.
