The main aim of the study is to investigate whether trade barriers by the regions in the world economy is a significant difference or not. According to the empirical results, Africa region has the lowest trade barriers; on the other hand, Europe region has the highest trade barriers. There is not a significant difference for trade barriers of America, Asia, and Africa In order to increase the welfare of the global society, it is vital to reduce trade barriers and increase international trade volume, depending on the international competitiveness of countries and regions.
