Abstract

Today, organizations operate in an environment where market structure, technology and customer demands change rapidly. In this intense competitive environment, there is a need for an understanding of the organizational structure in which employees take more responsibility and adopt their work instead of the traditional organizational structure. As a management concept, it includes the process of enhancing and improving people's decision-making rights (empowerment) through empowerment, assistance, sharing, training and teamwork. As a result of employees empowerment activities, the employee will adopt his / her work and make more efforts with the awareness of his / her responsibility in his / her job and increase productivity by creating positive effects on motivation, job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of employees empowerment on job satisfaction for 625 employees in the banking sector with the help of regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that employees empowerment would increase job satisfaction positively by 39.8%.
