When viewed in a cultural, social and economic context, tourism is accepted as one of the important service sectors of the economy of developing countries. Tourism income seems to be one of the most important factors in terms of its role in closing the balance deficit and bringing foreign currency inflow to the country similar to exports. Tourism is one of the most important sources of income for developed and developing countries. From the point of view of world countries, tourism is one of the economic branches that significantly affects the economy of many countries. If we evaluate the incomes of tourism activities in terms of developing countries, it is also important in terms of affecting many economic indicators positively and bringing a high level of welfare to the people of the region. In many countries, tourism is seen as a development tool. The tourism sector, which has good job opportunities as a service sector, plays a very important role in increasing job opportunities. Tourism ensures the balanced development of regions by creating new job opportunities in the country and has an impact on minimizing the development gap between regions. With the positive impact of the tourism industry on the development of the country's economy, accelerating the growth of national income, the position of the tourism industry in the Turkish economy is increasing day by day, leading to the formation and implementation of policies for this. Because one of the main purposes of the tourism policy of the Turkish economy is to compensate a part of the deficit in the foreign payment table, which is formed after shopping with foreign countries, with the support of foreign tourism revenues. The aim of this study is to monitor the economic development indicators of Turkish tourism in the Turkish economy by years, as well as the development of total tourism revenues in the period of 2014-2022. For this reason, using the data analysis method, the annual tourism income in the Turkish economy for 9 years was analyzed with tables and graphs.
