Individuals spend most of their lives at work. The fact that today's organizations try to achieve more work with fewer people, aim to create leaner systems and more efficiency, can lead to further deterioration of physical and mental health. For example; Leaves that cannot be taken, situations of not being able to find a replacement have started to trigger the behavior of coming to work while sick. In addition, the fact that it has been shown as a performance criterion in job continuity in the past and that this criterion still maintains its place in performance in many organizations makes it necessary for employees to continue to work. Performance pressure in organizations, organizational or personal factors rather than absenteeism; It prevents being present at work and being efficient and productive in this way. This phenomenon in employees who need to take leave due to illness or psychological reasons is defined as presenteeism. In our study; In the literature, the associated factors and recommendations for the phenomenon of presenteeism were reviewed and by looking at the details; It is aimed to include the personal, organizational, spiritual and behavioral connections of the presenteisim phenomenon.
