Abstract

In this problem, it is aimed that university students' intelligence levels and suitability of solving social problem. According to the obtained data, emotional intelligence levels of university students are variables that include the sufficiency of social problem solving. Relational scan model of the survey models is presented in this research. A total of 366 students, including 221 female and 145 male students studying in Afyon Kocatepe University, emerged in the sample of this research in the academic year of 2017-2018. In addition to the suppression of Göçet (2006), there is a Social Problem Inventory Short Form (SPÇE-KF) for the protection and the difficulty (2009) study. Findings by hand; the ability of students to solve social problems and the ability to solve social problems. The level of the students' ability to solve social problems depends on the level of emotional intelligence. At the same time, the level of problem solving, emotional intelligence and gender, educational status, age level and socio-economic status have a common effect. At the same time, it is seen that there is a positive relationship between educational status, age level and socioeconomic status variables and university students' emotional intelligence levels and social problem-solving abilities. The obtained literature has been interpreted and recommended in the literature.
