Abstract

Decision-making can be defined as the process of choosing between two or more alternatives. Decisionmaking style refers to the individual's similar attitudes and behaviors in similar decision-making conditions. The purpose of this research is to examine the graduate theses and academic articles published in the national and international literature on decision-making styles in Turkey between 2005 and 2019 and to determine whether there is increasing interest in this topic. The research scope consists of YÖKtez, Dergipark, ULAKBİM, EBSCOHost and Google Scholar databases. In the study, 20 Ph. D. theses, 44 postgraduate degree theses, and 78 academic articles were examined. The research findings were graphically displayed and presented in the tables. As a result, it was concluded that the studies on decisionmaking styles in the last fifteen years were mainly focused on educational sciences, sport, and management; and the interest on the subject has increased in the last three years.
