Abstract

The health sector is undergoing a transformation due to reasons such as increasing medical technological equipment, intense competition environment and awareness of patients. The person responsible for the execution of this transformation is primarily the leadership phenomenon. Because the main person who can strengthen the quality of health care in health institutions is the leader. Successful leadership strengthens the employee, creates a climate of trust, increases job satisfaction, improves patient care processes, and facilitates the delivery of higher quality health care services. There is a close relationship between organizational leadership phenomenon and organizational climate, organizational culture and employee performance, as leaders can influence actions such as establishing basic values, identifying and solving problems, and sharing information on organizational personnel. When the studies conducted in general are examined, it is seen that effective leadership has a positive effect on organizational climate, culture and employee performance, creates a synergetic work environment and has positive benefits for service quality in health services.
