Abstract

Pandemics, which have manifested themselves in the historical process, have caused permanent problems in terms of mental and physical as well as the death of many people. It is known that personnel in the health sector constitute a high-risk occupational group during pandemic processes. Although human beings have encountered similar epidemics of the Covid-19 epidemic, which continues worldwide, the course of the epidemic cannot be predicted. In the early stages of the epidemic, this virus was found in 22,073 health personnel from 52 countries, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). In the vast majority of workers, although the virus-related illness was mild, it also caused permanent physical damage and death In this article, information about the exposure of health workers to Covid-19, the factors affecting virus transmission, and the protection of the health of their employees during the pandemic process have been compiled.
