Abstract

Marina management, which is developing rapidly on a global and national basis, is not only a luxury tourism sector, but also a highly competitive service sector. Our country is it is among the rare countries suitable for marina management in terms of its climate, nature and geographical structure. Especially in this Covid-19 pandemic period many sectors are negatively affected. However, especially high-income individuals turn to marina tourism in order to isolate themselves in this period. In this study, job satisfaction levels of employees in marina enterprises were investigated. This research was carried out between 26 December 2020 and 04 May 2021 especially during Covid-19 pandemic period. However, since no similar study was found in the literature before Covid-19, it is not possible to compare the results in this sense. The data were collected with questionnaire forms prepared in digital environment. 329 marina employees participated in this research. Participants were asked questions using the Hackman and Oldham Job Satisfaction scale, as well as the form containing their demographic and personal information. The data were analyzed with the SPSS 21.0 statistical program; While the results were similar to some studies, some differences were found with others.
