A Research About Comparing Burnout Levels of Different Working Groups

Abstract

The concept of burnout that retains its importance at present as a subject studied in different cultures and different working groups can be defined as the feeling of physical and emotional exhaustion of workers, resulting of not being able to overcome the difficulty and stress of the job. In this study, the burnout level of the workers for being flight service employee or ground service employee is investigated. It is tried to determine that the burnout level of these two group are differentiated to each other. Furthermore, it is tried to indicated that if the the burnout level of the workers are differentiated according to various variables like age, gender, work experience, salary etc. The data collected by using Maslach Burnout Inventory are evaluated. The results related burnout, that is consisted of three sub-dimensions which are emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, low personal accomplishment, reached using the SPSS packed programme.
