Abstract

Nowadays, the innovations which arised because of changes, has caused important changes in the objecti?ves and operations of the organizations and also has increased the importance of information and human factors day by day. The new strategies which were maintained in the management area, have given the managers the responsibility for improving the satisfaction, commitment and performance level of employees. For this reason, to maintain an organizational culture which is based on the manager and trust and which will increase the performance level and organizational commitment of employess is important for the quality of health service and also for customer happiness. From this point on, the main object of this research is determined as to search the effect of employee empowerment to job satisfaction, trust in supervisor and organizational commitment in the hospitals, which are type of service business. As a result of this research, it has been seen that employee empowerment has significant positive effect on job satisfaction, trust in supervisor and organizational commitment. Also it has been seen that employee empowerment increases the employee?s feeling of trust to his/her supervisor. The most compatible structural equivalence model which consists of all these variables has been detected with the road analysis and suggestions have been made to the organizations.
