Abstract

In particular, Turkey has been identified as an important goal of industrialization after the establishment of the Republic. Turkey has implemented more interventionist policies with 1929 Big Crisis and this policies were continued until 1945. When the early 1950s, almost all the brides to be led government has not carried out significant strides in industrialization. After the Second World War, control of the industry began to fall into the hands of the private sector. Turkey, since the beginning of 1980, has been among the free market oriented policies of openness which countries. The purpose of this study was to clarify the concept of industrialization policy and examine the industrialization policies that the Turkish Republic pursued hitherto. Especially we will analyze the industrialization policies pursued in Turkey after 2001 and will discuss the industrialization strategies by examining the related strategy and planning documents.
