Doing Business Environment in South Caucasus Countries in Consideration of Its Indicators (2010-2017)

Abstract

Ease of The Doing Business Index ("Doing Business"), which has been prepared every year since 2003 with the cooperation of the World Bank (WB) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC); examines a number of regulations affecting local companies in 190 countries (for small and medium-sized businesses) to work quickly and easily with business start-up, management and liquidation operations. The Doing Business Index sorts country economies by the criteria for having adequate equity to do business. This work will analyze comparatively the business and investment environments according to the Doing Business prepared by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the South Caucasus countries whose geostrategic, geopolitical and geoeconomic potentials and importance are increasing day by day.
