The language of poetry differs from the language of everyday speech. This difference is due to the fact that the poet presents the language in a new form in his work through his contributions from his inner world. The words in the poem offer another world to its readers with new images and different association of ideas starting from its basic meaning. In order to interpret the words used in the poem, the work should be analyzed and the connotations and references that the poet has tried to convey should be understood starting from the basic meaning. The analysis of the poem is very important at the point of understanding its literary value once again. Muhsin Kad?o?lu is a distinctive poet who skillfully manipulates philosophical elements, and national feelings in his poems. It is seen that the poet successfully reflects the details of the language in his works, especially in his poems about love that are created with the symbols of his inner world. In this study, three poems of Muhsin Kad?o?lu, ?Mostar Bridge?, ?Kurtuba? and ?Stand up Elhamra!? in his book titled ?Ya Sen Gel(You come to me)? will be analyzed semantically.
