The purpose of this study was to examine the inspiration status of individuals who go to fitness centers in their spare time in terms of different variables. The population of the study consisted of individuals receiving service from fitness centers in Çanakkale province. And the sample consisted of 30 women (27,3%) and 80 men (72,7%) in total of 110 people, the sample was determined by random sampling method. Inspiration Scale (I.S.) was developed by Thrash and Elliot (2003) and adapted to Turkish version by Akın (2011). The reliability of the scale was examined by Chronbach Alpha analysis (α = 0,919) and it was found to be of high reliability. It was determined that the collected data showed normal distribution. For this reason, analyzes were made by parametric tests. According to the study findings; no statistically significant difference was found between the frequency of inspiration and the intensity of inspiration by gender, age, income, marital status, weekly and monthly attendance times at fitness center (p>0,05). As a result, it was found statistically that individuals who go to fitness centers are not a determinant factor in terms of their frequency of inspiration and the intensity of inspiration in their gender, age, income, marital status, weekly and monthly attendance times at fitness center.
