Abstract

In a rapidly changing technological environment, institutions have started to transfer their process into an electronic environment in order to reduce the cost of production, standardize the business processes and quickly respond to the changes in the market. The need for formalization of the activities of those institutions through recording and the proper preservation of relevant documents has led to the creation of e-signature. As a result of the study on E-signature usage habits, which is carried out by one of the providers of e-signature, it is shown that E-Devlet applications and public projects have the biggest share requiring an e-signature. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors underlying the usage of e-signature by public personnel through the technology acceptance model. A questionnaire/Survey has sent to a group of public personnel working in various public institutions and the data collected is analyzed with Structural Equation Modelling. According to the results, all the hypothesis regarding the study is supported.
